# Wednesday
## Meditations and Idea Capture

Sometimes I forget what all this hard work is for. In part, it's so that I can fulfill my desires.
I keep track of all of desires in a notion database called “someday/maybe”.
These are all the things I want or want to do, but don't have to do this week.
Here are my (current) categories:
- to-buy (stuff I want)
- to-copy (great content)
- to-start (business ideas)
- to-date (date night ideas)
- to-invest (ways to grow ca$h)
- to-watch (shows, YouTube vids)
- to-listen (podcasts, albums, etc)
- to-read (books, articles, social posts)
- to-research (things to learn more about)
- to-implement (mostly marketing frameworks)
- to-visit (cool hotels, outdoor concert venues, etc)
- to-drink (mostly interesting cocktails people tell me about)
- to-build (blueprints for an outdoor kitchen, a workbench, etc)
- to-achieve (future goals, like building a family camp in the mountains)
I have not been sticking to my morning routine. I need to either re-examine if it's good and I need to get back on it, or it needs revision. I will do that later tonight. I loved when I followed it. But them life happened. I also need to put boundaries around it. It's a bit sacred (not wholly, but it is my path to sanctity and developing the virtues I need). So I owe it to others to follow it even if it inconveniences them. Others understand that. I need to be okay with that.
Also, go keto. Being a slave to your gut is awful. Stop it.
"Sometimes you need to just stop reading and execute." (not all the time)
## Recollection
- Didn't stay 100% on target at work.
+ Talked with and consoled Stephen.
+ Did the podcast.
+ Made progress on self-authoring.
> I really like to listen. Is there anything I can do that would leverage that better?
- Was sullen in the morning and didn't get up in time.
