THF is using a W1030
the MTD 917-04383 (ordered p/n GW-2675) gear is a... W1030D or W1030Q (double or quadruple thread)... I think double (D). Well, it's not exactly that part but it's 30 tooth, 10 pitch. 1" wide bore, 1 1/4" shaft, 1/4" keyway, .863 wide gear teeth (apparently centered on the boss).
MTD 917-04381 is a left-hand version of this same gear I think.
