Well, I'm disappointed I didn't find anyone I was looking for. BUT. I think I know why. The people I'm looking for are:
- Too early in development to be at this show
- Too unconventional/innovative to be at this show
- Too niche to be at this show
Where will I find the right people?

100A farm
goal: make a living off of 100 acres (1.5m) farming 100a x $4/a x X = $200k -> X = 500 Bu/A ($2000/a)
ok, well what if you grow organic? 100a x $10/a x X = $200k -> X = 200 Bu/A ($2000/a)
The premium makes it more attainable...
spoonfeeding seems like the only possible way which like, okay... do you put it all under a 360Rain-type system? How do you do it without insane inputs?
Crops
- Mushrooms
- Microgreens
- Lavender
- Goji Berries
- Garlic: $1-2/lb x 15000 lb/A = $20,000 / A (wait... what!? that's crazy. also - 15,000 lb/A is on par with corn in tonnage)
- What varieties are not sold at farmer's markets?
- become THE LOCAL GARLIC GUY
Find a CSA and fill their voids
A bit of knowledge from farm simulator: "Never sell something that can be converted into something else"
guys who say the small farm / gardening isn't real farming... well... they're making a good living, no?
