# Examination of Conscience
LORD, I peer into myself and see darkness, things that are not glorifying to you and contrary to your will. Help me to peer in and pluck them from myself, laying them before you. Come in and heal me. LORD, these are my sins.

- I have been struggling to really find joy, profundity, and awe in the reality of the basics of the faith. I feel I'm losing a sort of inward reverence, though it does come back at times. I'm not consistently taking the attention to enter into the liturgy and prayers with my whole mind and heart and am often thinking of mundane things instead.
- I have been filling the lulls of my day with benign things that aren't necessary (email, youtube) rather than reading edifying works or appreciating creation.
- I haven't been calling my mom or deb as much as I should.
- I harbored resentment against a project manager for being agressive during a meeting rather than letting me talk and resolve a situation.
- I went off without good permission to redesign sections of a machine rather than waiting to get the go-ahead
- In about half of my conversations I haven't maintained good eye contact.
- General attitude of the workplace - I haven't been as amicable towards my new coworkers as I could be, preferring to go with the flow of the workplace rather than the flow of the Spirit.
- I've lapsed into reciprocating profane language a few times
- I've wasted a few hours of my employer's time by not being diligent enough.
- I harbored ill-will towards an engineer on account of what I percieved (and still do percieve) to be poor design decisions.
- I entertained temptation to masturbation by my actions when showering twice
- I have been a bit jealous of Kristen/Justin
